Oriental Motor, founded in 1885 and established in 1950, we developed Japan's first standard compact motor. Due to the constant renewal of our commitment to innovation, we currently manufacture over 15,000 product types ranging from AC standard motors, Speed control motors, Brushless DC motors, Stepping motors, Controllers, Linear & Rotary Actuators and Fan motors products.
With 2 R&D centres and 9 manufacturing plants spread throughout Japan, we strive to provide you with the latest technologies and constant delivery of our products at all times.
Singapore Oriental Motor Pte Ltd (SOM), established in 1982, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Oriental Motor Co., Ltd. in Japan. Our establishment was aimed to meet local and regional demands as well as an assurance to our customers that an Oriental Motor office is always nearby in any part of the world.
