SINGAPORE ORIENTAL MOTOR PTE LTD is a wholly-owned subsidiary of ORIENTAL MOTOR CO., LTD. in Japan, producing and selling small precision motors and controllers.
After several expansions and diversification, Singapore Oriental Motor now has moved to a more spacious location in Kaki Bukit Industrial Estate with a compound of 1768 SQ Metre in 1995.
There were local corporations in Malaysia established in November 2000 and in Thailand established in July 2005.
